Extreme Hold

Extreme Hold is the latest and greatest in silicone adhesive technology. This is our first true maximum-hold, silicone adhesive. You can expect a 4+ week hold time. It’s great for all types of units. It’s also medically tested skin-safe. Compare to No-Tape®.

 

Hold

Maximum Wear (3-5 weeks) adhesives are the longest-lasting adhesives we make. Depending on temperature, humidity, and body oils, they can last up to six weeks. Usually the most tacky, they require more skill to apply.

Cautions

Close cap tightly. Do not breathe fumes. Store below 90 degrees. Flammable. Test on small area before use.

Patch Test

The patch test is used to ensure your customer does not have any negative reactions to a particular tape or adhesive.  

  1. Place a small amount of adhesive/tape on an area of sensitive skin.
  2. Put a band-aid over the adhesive/tape and send your customer home for the night.          
  3. Instruct them to remove the band-aid the following day and check for any reaction.  

If there is any redness or irritation, do not use the product on that particular client.  Also, check to make sure that the bond didn’t release from the skin.  If no irritation occurred and the bond was secure, you can use that product with confidence.
